Throughout Old Town, there are six permanent benches that are enhanced by local poets who have dedicated their words to the Old Town community. Take a stroll up and down Turner St. as well as East Grand River Ave. to find all of them within the neighborhood.
The poems inscribed on the benches are the contributions of selected winners from the 2012 Poetry Bench Contest, a public seating initiative held by the Old Town Commercial Association.
